You don’t have to be in Paris to enjoy a simple yet luxurious breakfast. Stroll to your local bakery and get just-out-of-the-oven, flaky croissants. Serve them with creamy sweet butter and your favorite jam. Present this beautiful spread on your best plates, with a cheerful condiment spoon and voilà - Paris has just come to you!
The little red condiment spoon featured here came all the way from South Africa, a gift from a dear friend – which to me, makes the experience even more special.
How about taking the experience one notch up… by making your own jam? The warm croissants are irresistible with this peach jam with lemon balm and Marc de Bourgogne.

Viviane! I went to an African Festival here in Athens a few weeks ago and this is exactly what my daughter wanted to buy. She got two handmade spoons that are lovely and have enhanced our dining pleasures! One is a bit rough and she said, “it gets stuck on my tongue,” so we don’t eat with it, but use it for serving, as you have shown here. Yours is fabulous! Love the bit of cheer for breakfast. Such a good point.
Demetra, You and I are always on the same wave length… This little spoon is not rough at all tough… And probably too tiny to eat anything with. But just looking at it makes me happy… It also makes me dream of a Parisian breakfast in bed!
