Sporks! They’re fun, adorable, petite. Great for serving dessert to a crowd, like this luscious strawberry sorbet with Grand Marnier…
… or for hors d’oeuvres and appetizers, like this heirloom tomato salad with bocconcini and basil, which is not only easy to prepare for a large crowd but never fails to win rave reviews from young and old alike.
If you’re planning a big party or a summer picnic, and don’t feel like ending up with piles of dishes, consider bamboo plates over the plastic or Styrofoam kind.
There’re no reason not to love them. They’re inexpensive, disposable (and also reusable), organic, and biodegradable (you can even throw them in your compost!) And… they’re stylish!

Gosh, I LOVE these! What fabulous products…I’d be reusing the heck out of these.
I’ll be quite honest. I’d be the weirdo trying not to dispose of this and reuse them! They’re so adorable :)
Those are just adorable little things! I would never think of throwing them away. Bamboo is a sturdy material so should last for some time.
This is great information! My son’s 5th birthday party is coming up and I’ve been dreading the thought of disposable dishes…
Now I don’t have to worry about it!
Thanks again!
Liz, Emily, Adora! I’m with you.. these bamboo plates and “sporks” are too beautiful to throw away after one use! I’ve been soaking and washing mine in soapy water… and then air drying. As long as not too much oil gets on them, they do just fine.
Madge, I’m so thrilled to hear you might consider getting the bamboo plates for your son’s 5th birthday party. I’m sure you;ll love them. Happy birthday to him!
How cool! And I love that they are compostable!

These are lovely & stylish, definitely add some style to any party any time!
Great products here, perfect for picnics or just days where you are not in the mood for washing dishes. Also, they do make for a much better presentation than paper plates!
Tina, I’m with you… Bamboo makes very classy disposables!
