Pomegranate sangria with kumquats An easy, refreshing summer punch – perfect for a crowd!

Pomegranate sangria with kumquats

Though not strictly traditional, this fruity summer sangria might just become a new favorite!

I’ve never had much of a sweet tooth when it comes to cocktails – or, as a matter of fact, to any beverage. So, unsurprisingly, you’ll find no sugar added to this sangria. Here I rely on the natural sweetness of the pomegranate juice and the Cointreau to give the sugar-pop you’d expect in any normal summer punch. But that’s not all: a splash of fresh lime juice adds a juicy acidity that makes this homemade sangria truly mouthwatering.

And don’t forget to bite into the tangy kumquats between sips… cin cin!

I’ve never had a drink with kumquats. In fact, I’ve only had kumquat jelly. These sangria is gorgeous and so rich looking. I bet the flavor is amazing!

The tang of pomegranate in sangria is so enticing! A fabulous drink that moves from the end of summer, right into autumn.

My husband loves drink that has no sugar in it. Last week he made mojito from scratch without any sugar but I am sure he added something because it taste great with vodka.

Balvinder, A mojito with vodka is something new! A bit more adventurous than one without sugar, to be sure. Cheers to you and your hubby!
